CEO & Founder of I’m All Courage, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Speaker, and Embodied Leadership Coach
Amal has been learning, living and teaching for the last 10 years at the intersections of equity, diversity, and inclusion, trauma healing, pleasure activism, psychological wellness, embodied leadership and transformative justice.
Born and raised in Saudi Arabia, Amal was covered head to toe since third grade and in a fixed marriage at the age of 18. She moved to Canada when she was 24 and has transmuted the pain into her power. Today, she is named Top 40 Under 40, featured on Nasdaq as a Woman Leader to Watch, and had the privilege of meeting Oprah.
Amal is on a mission to help organizations create a culture of psychological safety, inclusion and belonging through keynotes, conversations and workshops so that ALL leaders can be audacious, authentic and reach their full potential. She is also on an adjacent quest to help their racialized and marginalized leaders through coaching and small cohort programs to unlock their full potential for power, pleasure and impact, live and lead wholeheartedly, and speak their unique ideas, wants and needs in any room they walk into. She has worked with over 100 women and non-binary leaders and creatives in a 1:1 coaching capacity and thousands of leaders in small groups capacity.
Amal knew she wanted to be a public speaker since she was 19, at a time when she was still in Saudi Arabia, in a fixed marriage, covered head to toe, and her voice was considered forbidden to be heard in public. She took the stage for the first time in 2016 and has been public speaking internationally at small to large events, her largest to date is 2000+ audience members in 2019. Her inspiring story, resilience and courage always inspire her audience to live and lead outside the lines, become agents of change and advocate for women's empowerment, equity, diversity and inclusion. She uniquely combines storytelling, neuroscience and a trauma-informed approach to EDI, creating an educational, emotional and thought-provoking experience that moves the hearts, opens the minds of her audience, and inspires action.
A lifelong learner and avid reader, Amal brings a wide scope of knowledge from her education, certifications, lived experience, work and volunteer experience in Saudi, Canada, and abroad. She holds an equity, diversity, and inclusion facilitation certificate, completed a 650+ hours somatic coaching training, a Bachelor of Management from the University of British Columbia, breathwork therapy, 200hr yoga teacher training, and a Business Diploma from the Institute of Public Administration in Saudi Arabia.
Amal still has vivid memories of when she spent over two years in court fighting for divorce, where she met women who were oppressed, and defeated by the system, and some had no one to stand up for them. Amal and other women had marks on their bodies, and those marks were brushed off and not even acknowledged. This is when she found her calling - this is when she knew that she needed to stand up for women’s rights, for human rights, for justice.
Amal truly believes that as we untame and heal our bodies, we can transform our organizations, heal the systems that tamed us in the first place, heal the world, and birth new systems and ways of being.
On any given day, you can find Amal dancing, going on long walks in the forest, writing her memoir (working title: From Burka To Bikini), procrastinating by reading other memoirs or planning her next Saudi Night Dinner Party.

Personal Development and Coaching:
In many spaces and events that center on Women's Empowerment, the emphasis is on economic empowerment, political empowerment and educational empowerment, and almost no conversation on sexual empowerment. We only speak about it in the context of surviving and the #meToo movement, creating a separation of our whole selves. Gender-based violence is one of the oldest forms of power and control. Amal’s expertise and services also include Sexual Healing & Liberation Coaching for women and nonbinary leaders who were or still are socialized as females.
