Leading for liberation
Cultivating cultures of Courage, Joy & Belonging
Leading for Liberation is not about learning the “right language.” It’s about transforming the inherited leadership patterns that live in our bodies, our relationships, our cultures and our systems.

Too often, our leadership defaults are not just personality traits; they’re systemic.
Coming from systems taught us that:
Power means domination & control, not collaboration, co-creation & communion.
Whiteness is neutral, and everything else is “diversity.”
Masculinity is authority, and femininity is emotional, irrational, or “too much.”
Cis-heteronormativity is the default, and queerness must be hidden or
professionalized to be accepted.
Neurotypical, able-bodied productivity is the standard, and different ways of
processing, moving, or engaging are deficits.
Urgency is a virtue, even when it comes at the cost of relationship, rest, or care.
Overextension is noble, especially for women, caregivers, and marginalized folks.
Conflict is dangerous, especially when it threatens comfort or institutional reputation.
Tone is more important than truth, especially when truth comes from the margins.
Slowness signals incompetence, instead of intention or access-centred practice.
Assimilation is safety, and authenticity & untamed expression is risky.
Rest & pleasure must be earned, and only after exhaustion and burnout.
Vulnerability is weakness, unless it’s strategically curated for optics.
Whether your team is scaling, in transition, healing, seeking culture-building, or a culture reset, our workshops provide practical tools and embodied learning that help people unlock their full potential and navigate boundaries, burnout, belonging, and brave communication, all while learning joyfully, tenderly, laughing and connecting with one another.

Our Approach
We meet your team where they are, and each journey is bespoke to you, your team, your needs, and your function
Every organization is at a different stage in its culture journey; we work with you, perhaps we complete a Culture Pulse Audit to learn where you are, what's working, what needs tending to, and what's emerging. We may start by cultivating the team's well-being or weaving the foundations of leadership, such as emotional intelligence, self-awareness, communication, burnout remedies, boundaries and psychological safety, before moving into deeper decolonial and equity work. Once there is built capacity, trust, and shared language, and your team is not in a fight-or-flight state, we begin unpacking systemic patterns, exploring decolonial leadership, and addressing how supremacy culture shows up in their bodies, lives, team dynamics and workplace culture.
Through the LEGO® Serious Play® method, somatic practice, trauma-informed facilitation, storytelling, and deep relational work, our approach is steady, relational, and paced for your team’s readiness, ensuring the work is not just courageous but sustainable and integrated.
To support real behaviour, embodied and felt change, we design monthly learning journeys for your managers, people leads, team/board members or company-wide. Each live training is followed two weeks later by a small-cohort Integration Circle, giving participants time to apply tools, practice new skills, and notice what is emerging. In these facilitated cohorts, leaders have space to ask questions, reflect, learn from one another, and build accountability together. This rhythm (train, apply & integrate, revisit) turns learning into lived practice across your organization and fosters more connection along the way.

FAQs:
Who is this for?
-
Leaders who care.
-
Leaders who want to hear all the voices.
-
Open to doing inner work & cultivating their leadership
-
Open to sharing lived experiences & learning from others
-
Willing to reflect on personal narratives and biases
-
People working in social impact, nonprofits, collectives, or values-driven organizations
-
Anyone who feels the tension between their values and how leadership often gets practiced
You don’t need a specific title. You do need a willingness to reflect,
slow down & engage honestly with yourself & others.
Who is this *not* for?
This space may not be the right fit if:
-
You are expecting a fully polished, hierarchical program
with rigid answers, the "right way”, or step-by-step
scripts, rather than an evolving, co-created, somatic
practice space. -
You want to bypass discomfort, grief, or nuance in
favour of positivity, harmouny, or “high-vibe” spirituality. -
You want a purely intellectual or academic exploration
of power, oppression, or theory. -
While we explore systems, histories and current realities,
this journey also centers embodied experience and
relational practice.

Leadership That Feels Like Liberation
The kind of leadership we’re longing for can’t be found in checklists or job titles
.
It lives in your body.
In how you listen, repair, and keep choosing liberation.
Not perfectly. Not all at once.
But gently, honestly, and from where you are.
